Benefits of Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a state of being aware of one's traits and being "self-aware". A lot of activities such as yoga and tai chi promote mindfulness. Mindfulness is an excellent way to manage workload and can be used before beginning work or when breaks are needed while working on school assignments. It helps to reduce rumination, stress, improve working memory and focus, and improve cognitive flexibility.
